How’s it going friends? We are back for Week 2 of the NFL Season! Anyways let’s get right into the meat and potatoes, here are my Week 1 picks!!
Thursday
Vikings vs Eagles (Okay let’s be real. I knew the Vikings were going to have a choke. But against the post Tom Brady Yuccs?! And Captain Kirk can’t even use the Primetime card this time around. Going to Philly for an actual Primetime game? No chance. Gimme the Eagles!)
Sunday
Packers vs Falcons (This one kind of feels like a coin flip here but since Jordan Love shined last week in hostile Chicago, I think I give him the benefit of the doubt. Gimme the Pack!)
Raiders vs Bills (After their Monday Night Letdown, I expect a bounce back performance from Buffalo in their home opener. Gimme the Bills!)
Ravens vs Bengals (Despite a rough start in Cleveland I think this is a week where the Bengals find a way to bounce back. Accuse me all you want of drinking the Lamar Jackson haterade but you know I’m gonna trust Joe Burrow. And in the words of Tom Albano, “Don’t Disrespect the Bengals!” Gimme Cincy!)
Seahawks vs Lions (The Lions are looking to follow up on a stunning victory in KC and against a Seattle team that suffered a letdown I think they’ll thrive in front of their own home fans. Gimme Detroit!)
Colts vs Texans (Okay let’s go flip a coin here…..Gimme the Texans let’s move on)
Chiefs vs Jaguars (After a shocking loss in their title defense I think we know how this goes. Patrick Mahomes makes like the hulk and gets angry. Gimme the Chiefs!)
Bears vs Buccaneers (Oy another coin flip….Gimme the Bears!)
Chargers vs Titans (Sure the Chargers went and chargered yet again. But I can’t see Herbert losing to the Titans. Gimme San Diego…..I mean L.A.!!)
Giants vs Cardinals (We’re not gonna talk about what happened last night you already know that was horrible. This was a test in adversity for the Giants and now the question is how do they bounce back? I think ultimately the Giants find a way even if it’s ugly. Gimme Big Blue!!)
49ers vs Rams (No contest, the Niners for the most part own the Rams and this week won’t be any different. Gimme San Fran!)
Jets vs Cowboys (No Aaron Rodgers big problem. Good luck going into Dallas with Zack Wilson as the starter. Gimme the Cowboys!)
Commanders vs Broncos (Back to the coin….you know what I’ll risk it. Broncos Country Let’s Ride.)
Dolphins vs Patriots (With that comeback win last week my faith in Tua has been reinforced. Gimme the Phins against the faded empire!)
Monday
Saints vs Panthers (This is the week where Bryce Young gets his first career victory. After the Saints completely let one slip I can’t trust them. Gimme the Panthers!)
Browns vs Steelers (Last week the Browns may have gotten a big win but going to Heinz Field they may be in for a rude awakening. Gimme the Steelers for my Upset of the Week!!)
