NFL News: Chicago Bears’ top 30 visit tracker By Grant Winsauer

The Chicago Bears are leaving no leaf unturned in their preparation for the draft, with their top 30 visits this offseason being a key part of their strategy. Their focus has been on bolstering the offense, which could greatly benefit their presumed No. 1 draft pick, Caleb Williams.

The Bears have said Keenan Allen, Gerald Everett, and D’Andre Swift to an offense that already included D.J. Moore and Cole Kmet. Not only do the Bears have the No. 1 overall pick, but they also have the No. 9 overall pick. According to Twitter, the Bears have met with all the top wide receivers and top edges. Looking at this top 30 visit tracker, though, they have met with many mid to late first-round draft picks. This could hint at a possible trade back from No. 9 because they aren’t trading out of No. 1.

The only question is how far the Bears will trade down to acquire more draft picks.

According to Patrick Finley, the Bears' front office and scouting department will be split into three teams to decide what to do with the number 9 overall pick. One team will advocate for wide receiver, one for offensive tackle, and one for defensive end. I like this strategy because if you go WR at nine, you give Williams another weapon on offense. If you go OT, you get someone to protect Williams’ blindside. If you go to DE, you get someone to be Montez Sweat's partner in crime.

The Bears have a promising opportunity to secure two high-caliber players on the first night of the NFL Draft. It could be a game-changer for the team if they manage to draft Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze, Williams and Dallas Turner, or Williams and Joe Alt. Such a move could make them one of the standout teams of the NFL Draft.

Honestly, even if they don’t come away with any of the outcomes I listed above (my preference), I still believe they won the draft because it is doubtful that they picked this high in the draft for a long time.
