NHL Picks Week One Prime Time By: Jennifer Kate

Hey, guys, I'm back, and I'm super excited to be doing some hockey picks of the prime time being (ESPN games) and TNT games. I will start with the games on October 13th and go to the games on October 20th. That way, it's a whole week (well, mostly), but anyway, moving on. But for those who don't know who I am, I'm Jennifer Kate, a former associate producer for the Empty The Bench Podcast Network.

Let's get right into the meat and potatoes of the games for this week (once again, shoutout Hank)

The first game is The Pittsburgh Penguins vs Washington Capitals on ESPN+ and Hulu on October 13th. Give me the Pens!

Next game is the Tampa Bay Lighting vs Buffalo Sabers on ESPN on October 17th. This is an easy pick! Give me the Lighting!

Next game is the Colorado Avalanche vs Seattle Kraken on ESPN on October 17th. This is such a rough one. Both teams are excellent, but give me the Avalanche!

Next one up is the Pittsburgh Penguins vs Detroit Red Wings on TNT on October 18th. This is another easy pick! Give me the Penguins!

Let's hop right to the next game: The Edmonton Oilers vs. The Philadelphia Flyers on ESPN+ and Hulu on October 19th. Battle of the Mid, if you ask me. In the wise words of Hank Indictor *coin flip* Give me the Oilers!

Next in line is The Chicago Blackhawks vs Colorado Avalanche on ESPN also on October 19th. This is another easy pick! Give me the Avalanche!

That about wraps it up for my Week one picks, and yes, I know I missed some games. I'm a bit late to the party, but I hope you enjoyed reading this blog. And let me know if you agree or disagree with my picks. Enjoy the games!
