D-Man's AEW Collision Take: Can Jericho & Omega Finally Take Down Callis? By Dan Schreiber

I am Dan “D-Man” Schreiber from the Empty The Bench Podcast Network. I've been a big wrestling fan for years and enjoy meeting wrestlers at signings. I have met a lot of wrestlers throughout the years. Some wrestlers still in AEW I have met were Chris Jericho, Sting, Darby Allin, and The Hardys. Each week, I'll explain my thoughts on AEW Collision.

AEW Collision

Juice Robinson vs. Andrade El Idolo:

-Juice Robinson, Jay White, and The Gunns are part of the tag team group called The Golden Elite. Making their way to the ring was Juice Robinson and The Gunns. Jay White could not help manage along with The Gunns at ringside during the match because he was attacked back on Wednesday backstage on AEW Dynamite.

-I thought at first that winning the match would be Juice Robinson because the other members of The Golden Elite always interfere in one-on-one battles, for instance, so their tag team member can always win.

-I thought Andrade would lose against Robinson because I felt it was like a three-on-one situation when The Gunns kept interfering outside the ring, attacking Andrade when the ref was distracted by Robinson.

-Robinson is an outstanding, tough, physical wrestler. I thought Andrade was in trouble with all that interference. Once the ref finally caught one of The Gunns members going to attack Andrade inside the ring with Robinson's award plaque. The ref then ejected The Gunns from ringside, and I was so glad that happened. Andrade then ended up defeating Robinson. Overall, it was a perfect match, and I am so happy Andrade picked up the win.

The Kingdom vs. Best Friends:

-I had a feeling The Kingdom would defeat the Best Friends. The match was just okay because I didn't find that much interest in it.

Julia Hart vs. Vertvixon:

-Since the wrestler Vertvixon was making her debut on AEW Collision. I knew Hart would defeat Vertvixon since Hart was part of the House Of Black tag team group. She has been an unstoppable sinister wrestler. Over time, Hart has become a better wrestler since being part of the House Of Black. I'm very impressed with how well she wrestles at age 21. It's astonishing she has 27 straight single wins and is also 11-0 this year in singles matches. We will see who can snap that streak.

Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho vs. Gates Of Agony:

-Before the match, Jericho and Omega could put their past rivalries aside and work together to defeat the ferocious tag team of the Gates Of Agony. The match was pretty good, and I saw Omega and Jericho work together to defeat the Gates Of Agony.

-Omega, for a while now, wants revenge on his former manager who turned on him. His name is Don Callis. Jericho also wants revenge on Callis because of starting a rivalry with him. Jericho and Omega have put their differences aside and will work together to take down Callis and his tag team group, The Don Callis family. Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi vs. The Don Callis Family of Sammy Guevara, Will Ospreay, and Konosuke Takeshita at the pay-per-view AEW Wrestledream tomorrow. Hopefully, once and for all, at the pay-per-view AEW Wrestledream, Omega and Jericho will finally be able to get their revenge on Callis. We will see, and it should be a great match.

The Righteous vs. Travis Williams & Judas Icarus:

The Righteous defeated Williams & Icarus. I knew The Righteous would win since Williams and Icarus debuted on AEW Collision. The match was okay. The only thing I found interesting during that match was watching The Righteous Wrestling. The Righteous have an exciting, great gimmick.

Aussie Open, Ricky Starks, and Big Bill vs. FTR, Bryan Danielson, and Wheeler Yuta:

-With these four-on-four matches, it was pretty good. It's too bad that FTR, Bryan Danielson, and Wheeler Yuta didn't win. Before the match, the Aussie Open, Ricky Starks, and Big Bill team might win.

-After the match, both of those teams ended up fighting each other. Then, when Bryan Danielson was in the ring by himself during the brawl, He taunted Zack Sabre Jr. to come in the round to confront him face to face, who was watching his match from the commentary desk.

-Sabre Jr. was watching Danielson wrestle because at the pay-per-view AEW Wrestledream. Danielson will vs. Sabre Jr. for the first time. This match will prove who is the best wrestler. It's a dream match you want to take advantage of. We will see tomorrow who is the better wrestler.
