Dancing With The Stars ~ Week 6 Recap By: Jennifer Kate

Alright guys i’m here with another blog but this time i’m doing something a little different then I normally do but i’m super excited nonetheless but before i get into what i’m going to be talking about let me introduce myself for those of you who might be new here I’m Jennifer Kate, Blogger here on the Empty The Bench Podcast Network.

Alright I'm going to be doing a recap of Episode 6 season 32 of Dancing With The Stars. This week's theme was Monster Night (Halloween Night Episode). Alright let’s jump right into the Episode so the first couple to dance was Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach they did a contemporary Zombie dance to the song Zombie by The Cranberries and they got really good scores from the judges and the actors are as follows they got a 9 from Derek Hough, another 9 from Carrie Ann Inaba, another 9 from guest judge Niecy Nash Betts and last but not least a 9 from Bruno Tonioli. They also earned a bonus 3 points from a dance marathon for a combined total of 39 out of 40 and are safe another week.

Next couple to dance was Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber they did a vampire themed Pasa Doble to SuperMassive Black Hole by the Muse they got decent scores this week and those scores are as follows: they got a 7 from Carrie Ann Inaba, a 7 from Derek Hough, a 7 from guest judge Niecy Nash Betts, and a 8 from Bruno Tonioli. They also earned 2 bonus points from the dance marathon for a total score of 33 out of 40 and are safe another week.

The third couple to dance on this week's episode was Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy and they are huge fan favorites and last week they were at the top of the leaderboard (episode 5) they danced a contemporary superhero dance where another superhero brings another superhero back from the dead to a song called Game of Survival by Ruelle. They got super high scores (again!) and those scores are as follows: a 9 from Carrie Ann Inaba, a 9 from Derek Hough, a 10 from guest judge Niecy Nash Betts, and last but not least a 9 from Bruno Tonioli. They won the dance marathon and got a bonus 5 points for a total score of 42 out of 40 (yes i know how that sounds) and they are safe to dance another week (obviously lol).

Next up is Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold (my personal favorite couple) . They did an Alien Argentine tango dance to the song blinding lights by district 78. They unfortunately didn’t get the best scores this week but their scores are as follows: a 7 from Carrie Ann Inaba, a 7 from Derek Hough, a 7 from guest judge Niecy Nash Betts, and last but not least a 7 from Bruno Tonioli. They didn’t do as well in the dance marathon. They got 1 bonus point for a total score of 30 out of 40 and somehow are safe to dance another week.

Next couple is Barry Williams and Peta Murgatroyd. They did a Little Red Riding Hood Vietnamese Walt’s to It's A Man’s Man’s World by: James Brown. I personally liked their dance and for his age I think he is doing extremely well. Let’s get his scores for this week and they are as follows: a 8 from Carrie Ann Inaba, a 7 from Derek Hough, a 8 from guest judge Niecy Nash Betts, and last but not least an 8 from Bruno Tonioli. They did ok in the dance marathon they got 1 bonus from for a total score of 33 out of 40.

Next couple is Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov did a mythological bird Argentine tango to a song called Bad Guy by Billie Eilish. They had a really good week which very much impressed me but nonetheless let’s get to the scores. They got a 9 from Carrie Ann Inaba, a 9 from Derek Hough, a 9 from guest judge Niecy Nash Betts, and a 10 from Bruno Tonioli. They did really well in the dance marathon. They got 4 bonus points for a total of 41 out of 40 and they are safe to dance another week.

Next couple is Lele Pons and Brandon Armstrong. They did a Spider themed pasa doble to the song Bloody Mary by Wednesday Dance Tik Tok Version by Lady Gaga. They started out really strong the first two weeks and have recently fallen off. They had an up and down week and didn’t have the best scores but also not the worst. Let’s get to their scores. They got a 8 from Carrie Ann Inaba, a 8 from Derek Hough, a 8 from guest judge Niecy Nash Betts, and finally a 9 from Bruno Tonioli. They did fairly well in the dance marathon and got 4 bonus points for a grand total of 37 out of 40 and are safe to dance another week.

Up next is Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater. I’m sorry to say this but they are my least favorite couple. They did an undead Matador themed Argentine Tango to a song called Somebody’s Watching Me By: Rockwell. Let’s get right to their scores. They got a 8 from Carrie Ann Inaba, an 8 from Derek Hough, a 7 from guest judge Niecy Nash Betts, and last but notleast a 8 from Bruno Tonioli. They did ok in the dance marathon they got 2 bonus points for a total of 33 out of 40. They were the couple to go home.

And last but not least Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev danced a Skeleton themed Jive to the song Skeleton Sam By: LVCRFT. They are very much fan favorites and she is an amazing dancer and she’s one of my favorites from this season so far. They really did this week and hada great dance. Alright to the scores we go. They got a 9 from Carrie Ann Inaba, a 9 from Derek Hough, a 8 from guest judge Niecy Nash Betts, and a 9 from Bruno Tonioli. They did really well in the dance marathon; they got 3 bonus points for a total 38 out of 40. They are safe to dance another week.
