Hank’s Picks Week 9 By: Hank Indictor

How’s it going friends? We are back for Week 9 of the NFL Season and we’re already nearly halfway through! But of course this season always seems to fly by. Let’s get right into the meat and potatoes, here are my Week 9 picks!!

Thursday
Titans vs Steelers (Despite suffering a rib injury it looks like Kenny Pickett is a go for this week. Now how effective he is is where the real question lies. And who knows if Will Levis “aka Mr. Mayonnaise” is really the answer. Gimme the Steelers in a low ish scoring game)

Sunday
Dolphins vs Chiefs (Here we’ve got a morning game in Germany. And this one’s a great matchup. Patrick Mahomes vs Tua (no I will not spell out his last name I don’t want to give my spell check a stroke. Anyways after having lost to the Broncos for the first time in his career there’s no question in my mind Mahomes will bounce back. Why? When he loses he turns into the Hulk. Gimme the Chiefs!)

Seahawks vs Ravens (This is a game I think may be closer than the 6 point spread might indicate. That said I think the Ravens pull away late in an otherwise close battle. Gimme Baltimore!)

Vikings vs Falcons (Without the services of Kirk Cousins this will be a much closer game than initially anticipated. Having said that the Falcons have their own question marks at QB with the benching of Desmond Ridder in favor of Taylor Heinecke. Regardless gimme the Vikings.)

Browns vs the Cardinals (Regardless of who starts at QB for Cleveland I don’t anticipate this one being much of a contest. Gimme the Brownies!)

Rams vs Packers (This one has coin flip written all over it. *Flips* Gimme the Rams!)

Buccaneers vs Texans (With both teams having fallen back down after giving their fanbases some false hope I think makes sense that this game is kind of a pick ‘em. That said when it comes down to it I tend to go with the better QB. Having said that, gimme the Texans!)

Bears vs Saints (Could this game be a potential trap for New Orleans? Maybe. Do I see it happening? Nope. Why? Because more often than not you don’t ever trust the Bears! Gimme the Saints!)

Colts vs Panthers (This one’s another coin flip. And I’m gonna be bold and take the Panthers? Why not? After all the Colts are without the services of Richardson and the Panthers might be feeling a bit confident. Gimme Carolina!)

Giants vs Raiders (First of all nobody in their right minds should touch this game with a 10 foot pole, unless your either a degenerate or a masochist. Second of all Coin Flip Time!! *Flips* Sadly the flip doesn’t trust the Giants. Why should it? I mean after all watch last weeks game at your own risk. Not to mention are we sure activating Daniel Jones is a good idea? Gimme the Raiders!)

Cowboys vs Eagles (Who cares if the Eagles have been winning so many close games? At the end of the day this is a loaded roster that finds ways to win. After all should I really trust a team with Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy on the road and in Philly? No way! Gimme the Birds!)

Bills vs Bengals (Whenever the Bengals start slow they always get stronger. At least since Joe Burrow emerged as their franchise QB. And even he’s gotten stronger too. And when it all comes down to it I’ve learned that not only are the Bills not trustworthy in some of these games but you simply don’t disrespect the Bengals! Gimme Cincy!!

Monday
Chargers vs Jets (I wouldn’t be surprised if this is another game where the Jets defense bails them out. But against a QB like Justin Herbert? Not likely! Gimme the Chargers!)

And that about wraps it up for my picks! As always enjoy your weekends, enjoy the games and of course stay safe!!
